Strengthening Global Process
Committee Topics
Our committees team has come up with a list of topics that will for sure spice up your weekend. This year, for the first time in SydMUN's history we bring you the European Union, the International Court of Justice and the International Press Gallery!
Remember, registration for special committees starts on August 23; registration for general committees starts on September 6.
Questions can be directed to our Under Secretary-General for Committees Edwin Montoya Zorrilla.
What is a special committee?
Special committees are committees that simulate special bodies of the UN, such as the Security Council. These bodies operate to a slightly different set of rules of procedures and is a good place for experienced delegates to brush up their Model UN skills.
Entry to special committees is by application only. Details will be provided closer to the registration day.
