General Committee Registration

To register to be a member of a General Committee and join the USYD delegation, then fill out this application form!!

Please ensure that you take considerable time and effort in filling out your application, as USYD has been allocated less General Committee positions than in previous years (due to the conference being slightly smaller than 2012, as this is the first time the conference is being held outside of Australia, and there being a large volume of interested students), therefore it is more competitive in 2013.

Please note that you must be able to attend the training day on the 1st of July, the MiniMUN on the 16th of May, and also another training day on a date to be announced. Failure or inability to attend these events may jeopardize your position on the delegation.

Please visit the AMUNC 2013 page on our website (http://www.usydunsociety.org/amunc-
2013/) and the AMUNC website (http://amunc.net/attend) for more information regarding
registration, and information about the conference generally.

What happens after I have submitted my application?

Successful first-round applicants will be notified of the success of their application shortly after applications have closed. They will then be given more detailed information about registration and payments due.

What happens if my application is unsuccessful?

It is possible that USYD may be allocated some more positions in late April that may need to be filled. In that circumstance, we will notify you if you have been successful in getting a position!

Alternatively, you can register as an individual delegate through the AMUNC Secretariat. This process opens on the 5th of May, and are done on a first-come first-served basis. If you are successful in registering as an individual delegate, then you will still be eligible to join the USYD delegation. For more information on registering as an individual delegate, click here.

What does it mean to be a member of the USYD delegation?

As a student of the University of Sydney, we will provide you with training opportunities,
research group activities, organise your accommodation and give you information about flights and socials. You’ll also be entitled to a delegation pack with all sorts of useful materials for the conference!

If you have any questions, queries, comments or concerns regarding AMUNC 2013, please make sure you consult the SUUNS website and the AMUNC website, or contact the Conferences Director, Matthew Yeldham, at conferences@usydunsociety.org.
