WorldMUN 2012

WorldMUN was created in 1991 by Harvard Students looking to set a new standard for the Model United Nations experience. It aimed to create a new spirit of friendship and cooperation that was truly global in scope and vision. WorldMUN is now cemented itself as a the premium event for tertiary students wishing to test their skills of diplomacy, public advocacy and statesmanship. New perspectives and understandings of different cultures are fostered through both the intellectual simulations offered by the wide-ranging committee topics and complimented by world-renown social events, distinguishing this conference from all other MUNs around the world.

WorldMUN has, in the past, been hosted all around the world by cities such as Istanbul, The Hague, Tapei and Edinburgh. In 2012, the conference will be held during the 11-15 March 2012 in the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada. It boasts over twenty committees covering a wide range of issues from the Military disarmament of the Arctic to tackling pressing issues such as the European Debt crisis.
